It’s a belief: Life is always happening for us, not to us. It’s our job to find out where the benefit is. If we do, life is magnificent. – Tony Robbins
Reinventing what’s inside is incredibly hard. Especially after you’ve taken a beating. Focus on putting yourself into position to see what others do not, a lot. You can use setbacks as a catalyst or you can let it destroy you from the inside out. We spend years of our life’s work staying rooted to “If I do this, I’ll get noticed.” Only to realize our disappointment over and over again when it doesn’t get delivered as we expected it to.
Why?
Because you didn’t do it for you, you’ve spent your time and energy doing it for someone else.
You have to want it more than anyone else on the planet. If that feeling doesn’t exsist, walk away. You’re spending valuable time and passion in the wrong outlet. You have to be more self-aware than that. Don’t forget what you desire. Loosen your grip on your certainties and test yourself instead. Do that instead of going after something someone else wants you to go after. Define your “it” and let it drive you.
Your gift? True freedom and a great dinner. A meal you can savor and enjoy. Something that will fill you up. Because you earned it for yourself.
Have a great weekend and thanks for stopping by.
