Meditation coach George Mumford is someone that I’ve been sharing with my team to help us move through performance. I’m trying to improve our adaptability in our focus to drive results. There are anxieties that come from being in a performance culture both in regards to being successful and being in the midst of not performing. George has dedicated his life to helping people find the space to be more aware and present with performance so we can have the steadiness of mind. To become flow ready. For it’s in the flow where we perform at our most optimal selves.
Rich Fernandez takes some time to talk to George in this video (15 mins) how when we make mistakes how we can let go, and begin again when we fail. Not if, because we will at some point indeed fail. How we deal with failure and success not taking our previous learning to the new learning. Go and begin again. This creates better possibilities. The more possibility in front of us we’re aware of, the more success we can have. We just need to get out of our own way.
I hope you enjoy the video as much as I did. I hope you can find your eye of the hurricane as I did thinking through his teaching.
We need to get in touch with who we are and be successful in our own unique way. Our ability to be present with that, is our key.
✌ Shawn
