Looking @ 2020

We’ve all just came out of the other side of 2019. How we feeling? I usually make it habit to take the last week of the old year looking back and take the first week of the new year looking ahead. I take all that, and I reflect. I’m excited to get 2020 off to a start this week. I’m hoping you are too. If you’re not, you still got time in front of you to get started this month.

I first wanted to thank you the viewers for taking time to read and check out what I post weekly. This is your time you’re taking to read what I have put up, and that is something very special to me. I would never waste your time. It keeps me going. So thank you. Here’s what you’ve given me the confidence to create.

Huge growth from 2018 to 2019! I learned a lot about what to write and what not to write. What to cast and what not to cast. You came to the table!

Doubled Views! Thank you!

Who knows where 2020 will take us, but I am really excited to double our views again. I’m going to work harder than ever this new year.

Some other interesting facts about 2019:

New this past year:

  • Added a Podcast The Well to the site!
  • Added a new weekly email/posting in Sept. and called it 7 Point Saturday which basically is a showcase of my learning and favorite reads of the week.

New for 2020 I want to be much more regular with The Well. There’s a plan and a direction I’ve been wrestling with the last few months trying to decide if that’s where it should go. I fear if it will be right or not, I just need to take the leap. The views or listens will tell me the truth of flop or not. I’ve toyed with the idea of two posts a month, one of which would be a guest. 1 guest, 2 questions, and keep it to 20 minutes or less. 1-2-20 on The Well. If I can manage to be regular at least twice a month with my casts for 6 months, I may take a run at vlogging as the next evolution.

I’m also excited to have finally landed on a planner system that is going to sync with all my devices, can be taken on the go, combines digital as well as analog features in one, and was very feasible from a purchase standpoint. I tried no less than 5 different planning systems last year, pulled a lot of great habits and content from each to get me over the finish line into 2020. This is the one I’ve been looking for. Curious? Check Shawn (not me, but a weird parallel universe thing that we have the same first name) Blonc out here: https://thefocuscourse.com The planner system is called the 2020 Focus Course Digital Planner.

I’m not short on any content for 2020 and pretty excited about some investments I’ve made to my personal learning for this new year and for the site. More to come.

That’s your look into 2020. I hope you will continue to follow, pick up reading the site again, and share in my learns together. I’m always open for suggestions any time and would love to see lots more comments that I will continue to use feedback from to make this a better place for you.

Happy New Year! I hope 2020 is everything you make it to be and more!

✌🏻 Shawn
