You ever take a look at that old shirt before you give it to Goodwill or donate it? What happens when you look at that old garage sale treasure of yours before it hits the table with a price tag? You remember what the story of it was? Why you had to buy it in the first place? Take yourself back into a cycle of appreciation for that one thing before you let it go. Learn from it. Honor it with a return to history. Maybe even give it to someone before you get rid of it that can use it. Sometimes, you may even find yourself taking it back off the table. Today, I talk about a few personal examples I had in my life where I had to let go of something, but before I did, I wanted to learn from it. Why this is a great practice, and what I learned about my work/life is something you’ll have discover yourself.
