Going to try something else. I know you got really use to my list I put up weekly. 7 Point Sunday (or whatever day it was it landed) has seen it’s time. I’m going to go a different direction, maybe might even consider this the evolution of 7 Point that is no more. I hope you like it, love your comments at the bottom so light me up with feedback.
1, 2, 3 was an idea of sorts that I have adapted from several of my other colleagues in the blogosphere and podcast world. Respect to them, their ideas have helped me come up with my own version. The idea is simple.
“1” is about what I did this past week that was really great. Something that I will remember or have been working on that literally pushed me beyond what I thought I was capable of doing. I believe that everyone is capable of nothing short of surprising themselves with something that they thought was out of reach. It takes hard work, unconventional means at times, and lots of failure to get there. But your best self is possible. And, it can happen literally daily if you pay attention to what’s possible long enough.
“2” is about 2 great articles I picked up. I really love learning. I found that 7 Point was a great practice for me to continue to show up and learn. I want to continue to share that with you like I did with 7 Point. What’s great, taking 7 down to just 2 each week, will make them the best of the best for you my readers. If they make the cut to the 2 for the week, then you better read them, because I think they’re that important. Of course, I could be off my rocker some days or a little biased. After all, the 2 are what I thought was great. Maybe you won’t see it that way. But, I’ll focus on stories that reflected someone going beyond what was possible typically.
“3” is about sharing with you some of the best quotes I’ve either heard or read in the week. I love being able capture things that really resonated with me not just for myself, but I think will for others too. Quotes are like break crumbs for my mind. They trigger learning in me, sometimes powerful enough that I believe others should hear about them too. To me when it has enough of my attention that I have to capture it, it’s really special. In fact, I see it as another human at the height of their potential. Literally, on the edge of breaking into a very different, better version of themselves.
I won’t sit here to promise when or what time it will land. But, I will push myself to deliver it weekly. Your first one, will be coming this next week. I hope you like it. If you don’t, I’d love to know why. I love feedback from you!
Thanks for being with me for the journey to date. Being here with SO MANY different changes in In-Between the Pages over the years. It’s not just been something I saw for you, but it’s been one for me too. Coming up with content, takes research, digging, being vulnerable or brave in what you publish, is in itself a bit of a test of trial or error. At it’s heart, learning.
