One of my hikes I happened upon this expansively massive river. This was at Starved Rock in central Illinois. Illinois River is the picture above that happens to be a tributary of the great Mississippi River. Just so happens it’s 273 miles long. It was so quiet here. One of the best moments one could have to just be still. Pause everything and feel. I could just be in that quiet for as long as time would let me.
Find that spot for you. Steal some time there. Plan it in the calendar if you have to to make it happen. Just recharge for a few minutes. Break that loop you’re in and unhappy with. Then go back a couple weeks later to experience it all over again. Thank me later.
