October caught up to me quick. Took some time off from the posting and cast for September to do some resetting. Recommend that to everyone. I mean, I literally camped out with myself in a tent kind of thing reset. Seriously, check it out below. Let’s kick start this new fall month off the right way with some roulette. This one is SIMPLE. But, those quotes or bits of advice that land on my ears or eyes I find are the most intentional when applied, universal for work or life.

“Everything you can imagine is real.”
– Pablo Picasso
Someone had to have imagined that incredible technology in your hand. Yeah, that smartphone of yours. They not might have imagined it would captivate our attention so much, we would literally starve versus give it up. That’s another post for another time. However, so many other imagined things I was like, “Huh, why didn’t I think of that?” I have the answer why I didn’t think of it. Maybe I did, but failed to take the next leap to bring it into reality.
Here’s what I would challenge us to do. Put that steel slate in your hand to sleep or off so you can focus on the task of imagining. Set a time aside for you, alone, and just recall something you imagined, but no one has created yet. I mean literally something that NO ONE has come up with. Even if it’s super crazy in your mind’s eye. Just imagine it. What could it accomplish if it was brought to life? Is it something that would serve your beliefs and bolster that of others like you? Is it something that would make other lives better, easier to live? Could it move humanity forward? Just go super deep for about 30 minutes writing down everything that pops into this imaginary widget of yours. It’s real to you, bring it to life by putting on the page.
That whole sabbatical I took last week and the picture above? Yeah, that was me taking the first step in bringing my imagined idea and self to life. Starting the action steps to bring it out of my head, map it out on the page, and get ready to begin. It’s an intentional example of bringing these great imagined ideas in my head out of my head, to begin the journey of bringing it to you my readers. More to come!
Thing is, imagining things that could be better or creating a need where there is vacuum or a need that no one else on the planet has figured out but you, they WILL want it. But, you have to do the work of bringing it into being. It start here. On the page. In a sketch. In a phone call to get some consultation from other great inventors like Picasso. It won’t become a reality in that amazing brain of yours until you take the first steps to bring it to life outside of your brain.
Good luck with that widget friends! Can not wait to invest in it!
