I wanted to try something. I believe that it will help me as much as it could help you. It will focus on what we can learn about something we didn’t know, short in length. A 1,000 ideas is my goal to deliver over the next few years, little snippets of things I found useful, that can be applied to work/life. A little share about why it got the spot it did. It could be written here on IBtP or verbally shared on The Well Podcast. It’s something to help me get back into learning, stay in learning, helping others become the best version of themselves possible. It’s a 3 year journey. A long play.
Some ground rules though. I can not promise these everyday. After all, life happens. It would take me over 2.5 years to deliver one idea every day. If I am being honest with myself, I probably can not sustain that daily. But, I’m going to try. I just don’t want to disappoint you all. They may be one paragraph. A few sentences. Or, 5 minutes of just some words on the podcast.
These ideas, are ideas I find interesting. They may align with current events. Might not. They are meant to just inspire your curiosity as they did mine. If you’re interested in the journey, jump in or weigh in on your own thoughts. You might even be a specialist in something I post. I’d love for my readers to go deeper, you may be that guide because of your own experiences. Feel free to drop in, get some conversation going. It’s always better with a +1. And, you’re always welcome to drop in.
Lastly, I didn’t come up with this idea of 1,000 ideas. I took it from someone else that deserves credit. Not sure where it’s origin lies, but this is not a new idea, nor one that I take as my own for credit. It inspired me to try, I hope it might do the same for you. Welcome. Come on in. My hope when we look back on all the different things that connect, we may understand a little more about ourselves.
Tune in whenever you want. I think my first one, may land tomorrow. Who knows. If it’s powerful enough to stand on its own, it will show up. Thanks for inspiring me to get back in the ring. I hope you pull up a chair.
✌🏻 Shawn
