The idea today is to do something way out there. Something that even might make you uncomfortable. The regular practice of doing this can be applied to vocational and avocational spaces. What if you took a policy and procedure manual from work, ripped a page from it, and then tried to create poem from it by doing this exercise pictured above? If you’re in HR, what a great piece to put up on the wall in the office!
Black Out Poetry was my choice. It’s not hard. Here’s what I did. https://community.holstee.com/c/community-reccomendations/black-out-poetry Getting started is often the most difficult thing to take the first step on doing something different. But, when you do, you might find a surprise. You’re are artist. You’re a leader. You’re a writer. Get crazy with what you want to try. Find yourself.
The point, do something that you’ve never tried, find yourself a new passion. A new therapy. Do something uncomfortable. I’ve found myself languishing. This is what I found to get me out of it. On top of it, what a great ice breaker for work meetings to kick off with! Everyone, anyone can be creative. You just have to try something different to find out what that might be.
