I have been stuck with this in my head for a while now. Is it being inspired that gets you there or is it aspiring that gets you there?
I feel like inspirational thoughts are good in of themselves they give you a space to create your intention or purpose. It is the dream.
Aspire, is where I am at. To aspire is to put action to what your inspiration is. To aspire is to move. To inspire is to dream of the potential or possibility of a better version of myself. To aspire is to move that dream into play, take the first step, ACTION!
It’s confusing. When you research the meanings. Inspire is to “fill someone with an urge” especially to create. Aspiration on the other hand is the “hope or ambition” to achieve something. Aspiration in its usual form is a noun, not a verb. Maybe I have it backwards? I do like the alternate definition of aspire is to “breath it in” and inspire is to “breath it out.”
I don’t want to go to far with this one. I’d love to open this one up to the group. I work currently for a company that believes their mission is not just an inspirational one, but an aspirational one. When that is the case, it’s not just words, it’s also seeing it come alive in their actions. It suggests we have to breath it in and breath it out.
What do you think?
